Marina Shearer - DIRECTOR Inspired Talk
Marina completed a BSc. in psychology from Canterbury University opening the doors to be employed and superbly trained by CLEAR Communications to be a corporate trainer. For five years she trained for CLEAR around NZ in major call centres assisting in many of the facets of set up, training and coaching of staff.
Marina left CLEAR and started her own training and consulting business, Inspired Talk. During the next ten years she worked as a contractor to the NZ Institute of Management in Wellington and Christchurch and People Power, a Christchurch based Call Centre Training Business.
Now Marina works in a variety of organisations around NZ assisting in many facets of the organisation. Following is a sample of organisations that Marina has worked with in 2010.

It is with pleasure and enthusiasm that I write to endorse the Customer Service programme Marina Shearer presented to Coupland’s Bakeries administration staff. We were exposed to creative presentations, practical and interactive training workshops, all within a programme tailored to meet the needs of individuals. Marina is an effective communicator and was successful in encouraging us to use new and effective techniques to retain and continually build customer relationships. Orana Wildlife Park
Marina has worked with Orana Wildlife Park for 7 years and has conducted a range of workshops to up skill our staff and volunteers in a range of areas, including: public presentations, general customer service/focus, handling difficult customers (in person, over the phone) and up selling techniques. We were impressed with how Marina worked with us to carefully tailor each workshop to the specific nature of our operation thereby ensuring that we were able to discuss actual situations we encounter. Marina provides practical, user friendly, techniques that have helped us enhance the visitor experience. We have been delighted with the outcomes of Marina’s workshops and will continue to utilise her expertise so that we can continually provide our customers with the ultimate wildlife adventure. Hanmer Springs Pools and Spa
Marina has provided Proactive Customer Service training for our Reception, Spa and I-Site staff.
